Tighe & Bond Welcomes Senior Team Members Rossini, Murphy, Harvey, and Ragan
Tighe & Bond is pleased to welcome four senior team members as the firm continues to expand leadership and expertise across its business lines.
Principal Engineer Michael Rossini will be working within the Building Services business line from the firm’s Westwood, Massachusetts office. Rossini has nearly 30 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer. Over the years, he has led various projects that addressed the needs of higher education institutions, laboratories, hospitals, infrastructure, and transportation. Noteworthy projects recently completed include Massachusetts Port Authority’s (Massport) Terminal B Pier A and Pier B Renovations and Expansion at Logan Airport, Massport’s Conley Terminal Gate Processing Project Phase 1 and 2, and Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton, Massachusetts. Rossini received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and his Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
Also located in Westwood, Daniel Murphy joins Tighe & Bond as a Senior Project Manager. Murphy specializes in transportation engineering and will be working on a multitude of projects for the Land Use & Transportation business line. He brings 27 years of experience as an Engineer and Project Manager for transportation projects around the Northeast. Murphy has completed many intersection and roadway improvement projects and reviewed and implemented roadway shifts and changes during construction of the Central Artery/Tunnel Project in Boston. A member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Transportation and Development Institute’s Street and Highway Operations Committee, he applies his expertise in reviewing proposed changes to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
Rounding out the expansion of the firm’s Westwood office staff, Project Manager John Harvey will be joining the firm’s Environmental business line. Harvey is a Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP) with over 20 years of environmental waste site cleanup experience within the New England market. Harvey has directed the assessment and remediation of multiple brownfield sites throughout Massachusetts including a former industrial property in Somerville, a former steel foundry in Worcester, and a former lead burning facility in Woburn which were all later used for residential development. He has also led the response and successful clean-up efforts associated with a jet fuel release at Logan Airport and fuel oil releases from underground storage tanks at multiple public schools. Outside of work, Harvey serves on the Regulations Committee of the LSP Association.
Senior Landscape Architect Sean Ragan has joined Tighe & Bond’s Shelton, Connecticut office. Ragan brings over ten years of landscape architecture experience focused on institutional and commercial projects throughout the Northeast for notable clients, including Yale University and the University of Connecticut, as well as prior experience in construction management and real estate development. He received a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Connecticut.
