Seeking Responses for 2025 Massachusetts Water and Wastewater Rate Dashboard
Our team is once again working with the University of North Carolina Environmental Finance Center to conduct a survey of Massachusetts water and sewer rates.
For over 20 years, communities across Massachusetts have relied on our rate studies to help understand how their water and wastewater utility costs compare with other communities, in order to make informed decisions about rate structures and changes.
The University of North Carolina EFC has issued a survey request for every water and wastewater provider in the state. Massachusetts utilities are encouraged to share their rate data with the UNC Environmental Finance Center (efc@sog.unc.edu) by Thursday, August 15.
Once survey data is compiled, results will be available in a free, interactive rates dashboard that will allow rates to be compared by various factors, including utility size, water source, ownership type, and customer demographics.
