Our Firm Receives Three ACEC/MA Awards

Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) tanks are used to remove PFAS at the Dry Bridge Road WTP.
We celebrated several award wins this week at the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA)’s 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards Gala in Boston, MA, where our team was recognized with a Bronze Award in Engineering Excellence for our work on the Westfield, MA Dry Bridge Road Water Treatment Plant.
We worked with the City of Westfield from design through construction of the new treatment plant, as well as treatment systems at multiple well sites, to address PFAS contamination, improve the quality of treated water, and improve the reliability of the city’s drinking water distribution system.
Our firm also received the Workplace Belonging & Engagement Award for our efforts to promote a welcoming and inclusive work culture.
Project Manager Sam Taugher received the Young Professional of the Year from ACEC/MA. In addition to his work as a Project Manager and Team Leader in the Water Business Line, Sam is actively involved in volunteer efforts to inspire the next generation of engineers.
