Tighe & Bond Acquires RT Group
Acquisition expands services and geographic footprint of both firms
Tighe & Bond, a Northeast leader in engineering, design, and environmental consulting announces it has acquired Rhode Island-based RT Group, Inc., a firm with expertise in waterfront engineering, dam safety, and geotechnical services.
The integration enables the firms to expand on the key service offering of waterfront engineering. Tighe & Bond’s current Rhode Island office in Providence is now complemented by RT Group’s North Kingstown office, bringing the total number of Tighe & Bond offices to 12 across Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Maine.
This strategic acquisition is a key component in better serving and being even more responsive to clients across Southeastern New England, and aligns with the firm’s vision of being a trusted advisor by offering clients a comprehensive, single-source solution to their design and engineering needs.
