Rich Protasowicki, PE, joins us as Vice President
We are pleased to announce that Richard Protasowicki, PE has joined Tighe & Bond as a Vice President in our Water Business Line.
A well-known authority on drinking water infrastructure design and operation, Rich brings nearly 30 years of progressive experience with municipal projects – including source/supply, treatment, transmission, distribution, and storage – ranging from planning, to study and design, to start-up phases. His technical specialties include emerging contaminant removal (PFAS, 1,4-Dioxane, etc.), iron and manganese treatment, membrane filtration, and UV disinfection of drinking water supplies.
Rich will serve as a Project Director on drinking water projects across the Northeast. Additionally, in his role as Director of Project Management for the Water Business Line, he will drive consistent standards across our project delivery model, develop and support ongoing coaching and training efforts for project managers, and partner with team members to drive efficient project delivery. He will also be involved in strategic water business and workforce planning. Rich will be based out of the Worcester office.
Outside of Tighe & Bond, he previously received the William H. McGinness Award, recognizing his commitment to the waterworks profession and his support of the Massachusetts Water Works Association (MWWA). He is also a member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), New England Water Works Association (NEWWA), and the Plymouth County Water Works Association (PCWWA). He received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in civil engineering from Northeastern University.
