Site and Playground Design for New Elementary School
In collaboration with the City of Newport and HMFH Architects, Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio developed the site design for this new PreK–4 Pell Elementary School.
Halvorson supplied site and playground design assistance for this Rhode Island “Green Ribbon” school complex. The design allowed for a separation of areas based on age group and includes new and exciting play features for students.
In addition to play structures, Halvorson provided design and detailing for bicycle parking, multi-use fields, and basketball courts, as well as planting and grading.
