Building Excellence across an Historic Campus
Deerfield Academy is an independent secondary school committed to high standards of scholarship, citizenship, and personal responsibility. The campus spans nearly 330-acres and contains over 90 buildings including dorms, faculty homes, academic and athletic buildings, and physical plant buildings. Athletic facilities include approximately 90 acres of playing fields, tennis courts, a hockey rink, gymnasiums with basketball courts, and international squash courts. It also includes a fitness center, swimming pool and separate diving well, track and synthetic turf fields, and a boathouse located on the Connecticut River.
In 1991, our team began providing various engineering and permitting services to Deerfield Academy. Since that time, we have been involved in nearly every major building renovation and infrastructure improvement project.
Campus-wide Projects
Recently, we provided site/civil services for a new field house and hockey rink, as well as renovations for the school’s Boyden Library. We’ve also provided campus-wide infrastructure master planning, mapping, and modeling. Besides numerous athletic facilities and a boathouse, we’ve provided an array of services for new dormitories and classrooms. This includes a new $65 million science, math, and technology building that achieved LEED Gold certification.
