Bill Potochniak has 25 years of experience providing environmental engineering services to industrial and institutional clients. He specializes in water and wastewater treatment technologies with a focus on wastewater treatment design, regulatory permitting, and assistance. Bill works collaboratively with clients to look for ways to reduce pollutants at the source before jumping to end-of-pipe treatment systems. Should one be necessary, he also works with operators and stakeholders to ensure that the treatment solution meets the needs of the current facility while considering the possibility of future growth. In addition, he has assisted clients in the healthcare sector with tracking sustainability metrics and identifying opportunities for initiatives to improve them. Bill also prepares and certifies spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC) plans, has conducted fieldwork related to the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP), and has conducted pipe mapping and water balances at a number of facilities.
