Shelby Marokhovsky is a project manager with ten years of experience in remediation and assessment projects throughout New England and the Northeast. Shelby works on a variety of projects, including underground storage tank removals, construction observation, environmental and geotechnical drilling, environmental research, regulatory compliance for industrial facilities, and emergency response for the two largest utilities in Massachusetts. Shelby also serves as Team Leader for a team of site assessment and remediation staff across eastern New England, as well as serving as Location Manager for Tighe & Bond’s Rhode Island offices. She specializes in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, primarily to support clients prior to acquisition of a property, as well as soil management in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Life Outside of Work
Outside of work, Shelby enjoys traveling with her husband to new cities and countries and experimenting with new cupcake flavors. In the summer months, Shelby attempts to maintains a 150 square foot vegetable garden and finds shelling peas and beans therapeutic. Shelby recently served as a co-chair for the Licensed Site Professional Association (LSPA) Emerging Professionals Committee (EPC) and remains actively involved with the LSPA, as well as the Rhode Island Society of Environmental Professionals.
