Shannon Jamieson’s deep appreciation for ecology, sustainability, and resilient design attracted her to the field of landscape architecture. As Project Manager, she is actively involved in all phases of design, from collaborating with clients and participating in public meetings/hearings to the development of conceptual designs, detailed graphics, coordination for permitting and approvals, design documentation, and construction administration. Her experience includes a wide range of projects, including public parks, streetscapes, waterfront design, commercial and residential developments, academic campuses, and urban spaces.
Since joining Halvorson, Shannon has contributed to a variety of projects for municipalities, private developers, and institutions. Her recent work includes the resilient landscape design for the award-winning Clippership Wharf in East Boston, Hancock-Adams Common in Quincy, the new A Street development in Fort Point Channel for Related Beal, and the Riverside transit-oriented development in Newton for Mark Development.
In 2019, Shannon was selected to join the ULI Boston/New England Women’s Leadership Initiative Council, a multidisciplinary, collaborative network comprised of thought leaders in development, design, engineering, and law who are dedicated to promoting the advancement of women to leadership roles in the real estate industry.
Life Outside of Work
Not one to relax, Shannon keeps busy outside of work, undertaking multiple home renovation projects, reupholstering furniture, growing and cooking her own food, raising a brood of hens, and seeking quiet places on her boat with her husband and dog.
