Peter Grabowski is Tighe & Bond’s Chief Operating Officer, working with the firm’s management to ensure optimum client service delivery across all of our geographic locations. Peter also serves as the Chief Risk Officer and is responsible for Tighe & Bond’s enterprise risk management program. Peter serves as a Project Director for a variety of water projects and was the former leader of the firm’s Water Business Line. His experience includes project management, planning, pilot testing, engineering evaluation, design, permitting, cost estimating, and construction project supervision.
Peter is currently a Trustee at Large on the Connecticut Section AWWA (CTAWWA) Board. He previously served on the CTAWWA Board as the Education and Public Affairs Council Chair and currently is the Co-Chair of the Education and Program Committee. He also serves on Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Environmental Engineering Advisory Board as well as Endicott College’s Engineering Professional Advisory Committee. In addition, Peter is a frequent technical speaker at AWWA and NEWWA programs and has authored numerous technical publications.
Peter serves as co-leader of Tighe & Bond’s project management training program and is a member of our Board of Directors. Several projects that he has overseen have been recipients of American Council of Engineering Companies’ awards.
Life Outside of Work
Peter stays extremely active outside of work, previously coaching several youth sports and currently serving as the co-treasurer for the Westfield FC Association. He has volunteered his time coaching for the Westfield Little League, Westfield Youth Soccer, travel baseball and basketball teams, and the Westfield suburban basketball program. Growing up in Connecticut, Peter is an avid UConn sports fan and enjoys spending time watching his children compete in various sports.
