Louis Soracco is a senior project manager with over two decades of experience collaborating with clients on their drinking water, wastewater and construction management needs. Lou’s specialties include the treatment of drinking water and all infrastructure associated with source development, distribution, and storage. Lou’s experience with the implementation of full-scale biological treatment of iron and manganese is unique in New England; which includes the first-of-its-kind treatment systems for Massachusetts and Connecticut. In addition, he was instrumental in the design and execution of the first PFAS treatment system to utilize biologically active filtration of iron and manganese for pre-treatment. Additional industry contributions include active participation and a leadership role in the NEWWA Filtration committee, which hosts an annual filter surveillance workshop and an annual Water Quality Symposium to showcase the work completed and advancements in the field of water filtration.
Life Outside of Work
Lou enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and spending time outdoors with his wife and son.
