Derek is a technical lead supporting numerous water treatment projects as a Professional Engineer in Massachusetts. He has broad water and wastewater treatment planning, piloting, and design expertise gained from his decade of experience in the industry. Derek has led a diverse group of treatment projects including biological treatment, iron and manganese filtration, and contaminant adsorption. Derek’s most recent work has been to focus on mitigation strategies for PFAS contamination in community groundwater systems throughout New England.
Life Outside of Work
Derek maintains a balance with his work by spending time with his wife and two young children. He enjoys art, board games, and doing the family’s nightly puzzle. Derek is also an avid New England sports fan and is still in emotional recovery from the retirement of Tom Brady.
