Project Manager

“No project can succeed without the support of the community it’s intended to serve. Throughout our transportation projects, we do frequent public outreach to make sure we get buy-in from all stakeholders.”

Alex is a Project Manager in our Transportation Business Line with an emphasis on roadway design and construction. His professional experience includes geometric improvements, multi-modal accommodations, context sensitive design, ADA compliance, and numerous culvert and utility projects. He has worked on and managed many publicly funded projects involving the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and is familiar with their project delivery process.

He has experience with civil/site design, participating in numerous stormwater management and utility improvement projects, parking lot designs, site layouts, subdivision plans, and permitting. He also has experience conducting hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) studies and designing stormwater control measures (SCMs) to comply with MassDEP and MassDOT standards. He is well versed in public outreach and considers it an integral part of success project delivery.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, their son, and their twin daughters. He can be found on the baseball or softball field coaching the kids or chasing them around to their many other sports and activities. He is a member of the Tri-County Highway Board of Directors and gives back to his community, including a current appointment to the Board of Public Works in Westfield.
