Employee Ownership Month: “I’m An Owner, Too”
As we celebrate Employee Ownership Month, we asked our employee owners what being a part of an ESOP company means to them.
Carolyn Lowe, PE serves as Chair of our ESOP Administrative Committee, helping to review the prior year’s ESOP results and approve any necessary changes to ensure employee-owners benefit from our firm’s success.
“It means my performance affects the livelihood of everyone else at the firm, pushing me to go above and beyond to benefit my colleagues…”
Diane Brennan has been with the firm for over 35 years and appreciates the additional benefits that our ESOP program offers to employee owners firm-wide.
“It means the company gives back to employees through benefits we wouldn’t normally receive, like additional contributions to retirement…”
Bryan Gammons is a Senior Environmental Scientist with nearly two decades of environmental consulting experience. He also frequently volunteers his time to nonprofits and community boards, and appreciates that our ESOP promotes the wellness and involvement of our employees.
“It means that Tighe & Bond prioritizes its employees over the bottom line by making each employee part owner…”
Dan Hammerberg, PE is a Project Engineer who works primarily on water infrastructure projects, including dam removals and repairs. He appreciates that the ESOP benefits our employees for taking on projects they are passionate about.
“It means that I can work on exciting resiliency projects that drive me while benefitting from our success through my ownership stake…”
