Nicholas Granata is a principal environmental scientist with over 20 years of experience providing site assessment and remediation consulting services. He is a CT Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) with in depth knowledge of CT regulatory programs and regulations including the Remediation Standard Regulations, the Connecticut Transfer Act, Connecticut Voluntary Remediation Programs, as well as State and Federal Brownfields Programs. He serves as the CT Site Assessment and Remediation group’s Resource Manager. Nicholas manages and directs site assessment and remediation projects for both private and municipal clients. Specific areas of expertise include Phase I, II, and III site assessments, remedial planning and implementation, and brownfields. He has experience with assessment and cleanup strategies for variety of contaminants including petroleum, solvents, metals, PCBs as well as emerging contaminants such as PFAS.
Nicholas is also active in several professional organizations consisting of the Environmental Professionals Organization of Connecticut and the Environmental Business Council.

Outside of work Nicholas enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors including camping and winter sports.
