Iris (Yung-Ching) Lin’s design perspective is shaped by her background in landscape architecture, her interest in the fine arts, and her engineering training. Her expertise lies in thoughtful and creative problem solving combined with aesthetic expression, which she applies throughout the design. Iris has contributed to projects ranging from park planning and design to cemetery improvements, hospitality and mixed-use developments, and institutional and academic campuses.
She brings a wealth of experience in planning and landscape architecture for commercial, institutional, and municipal clients. Her recent projects include the award-winning Senator Joseph Finnegan Park at Port Norfolk in Dorchester, MA; the Dover High School in Dover, NH; Carver Elementary School in Carver, MA; St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH; and the Whittier Choice Neighborhood Development in Roxbury, MA.
Iris was selected to join ULI’s Pathways to Inclusion Cohort for 2020/2021. She is also a member of the Wellesley Design Review Board.
Life Outside of Work
Outside of work, Iris enjoys traveling to new places and spending time with her family. As a landscape architect, she is drawn to the outdoors, and particularly enjoys hiking, camping and gardening.
