Senior Project Manager Jennifer Miller Joins Tighe & Bond
Tighe & Bond, Inc., a northeastern leader in engineering, design, and environmental consulting announced today that Jennifer Miller, PE has joined the firm as a Senior Project Manager in its Water Business Line. During her decades-long career, she has gained experience in process engineering and water/wastewater engineering. Miller will serve Tighe & Bond’s clients across the Northeast, working from the firm’s Portland, Maine office.
Miller’s career has been defined by her leadership on numerous projects throughout the state of Texas. Her focus on water and wastewater engineering included water and wastewater utility replacements, wastewater treatment plant and water intake structures design, and stream bank stabilization projects.
Starting with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, she became a leader in her field as a process engineer overseeing more than 35 projects from concept to completion. The scope of Miller’s projects ranged from independent technical assessments of technologies at laboratory bench-scale to full-scale demonstration of third-party and firm-owned technologies. By managing these projects, she helped clients assess, test, demonstrate and apply technologies to meet air quality regulations. As her career progressed, she managed stand-out water engineering projects such as a 41.4M project in San Marcos, Texas that addressed improvements for a 2-mile natural channel to reduce flooding in the urban area and provided a multi-use trail to connect residents to the City parks.
“Jennifer’s unique combination of technology and engineering practice experience on a variety of projects will allow our firm to offer an even more diverse skillset within our business line. We are very happy that she has joined our team!” says Peter Grabowski, Water Business Line Leader.
Says Miller, “It is exciting to contribute to this growing firm and I am looking forward to working with communities in Maine and across the Northeast.”
