Jeff has over 20 years of professional experience providing engineering and management of water and wastewater projects throughout New England. His experience includes planning, design, and construction administration on a variety of drinking water supply, treatment, distribution, and storage projects.
One such project was the Memorial Beach Water Treatment Plant in Webster, Mass. that was recognized by the American Water Works Association’s Opflow Magazine. Jeff served as Project Manager for the pilot study, design, permitting, and construction phases for this 2.75 million gallon per day iron and manganese treatment project. Using Greensand Plus filter media the treatment plant filters water from six of the Town’s seven water supply wells. The project also included an aeration tower for carbon dioxide removal and backwash waste recycle system to maximize the treatment plant’s hydraulic efficiency.
Jeff has worked side-by-side with clients who are dealing with PFAS in their drinking water. He has advised and assisted them in applying and receiving State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Water and Waste Disposal Program funding. These programs can assist many communities in dealing with PFAS treatment using a combination of low-interest loans, grants, and loan principal forgiveness.
Jeff also serves on the Massachusetts Water Works Association Board of Directors.
