Overview
The goal of this complimentary seminar is to provide you with the information and tools you need to start planning for significant NPDES permitting and regulatory changes associated with the EPA’s nitrogen control program aimed at improving Long Island Sound (LIS) water quality. Anticipated future nitrogen permit limits, which impact Massachusetts wastewater treatment facilities that ultimately discharge to the Long Island Sound, may trigger the need for extensive upgrades at many wastewater treatment facilities.

He will speak about the NPDES permitting process, timing and technical requirements for appeals, and the likelihood of success or at least delayed implementation.
