Welcoming Keith Prata as Technical Director, Building Services
We are pleased to announce that Keith Prata, PE, LEED AP has joined Tighe & Bond as a Technical Director in our Building Services Business Line.
Keith brings over 25 years of experience in the design, coordination, and management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) and fire protection (FP) projects in the institutional, industrial, and real estate sectors. His experience has included work on large-scale hospitality projects such as the Palazzo Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, NV, and Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort in Singapore, as well as higher education facilities such as Boston University’s Center for Integrated Life Sciences and Engineering in Boston, MA, and the Kuwait College of Engineering and Petroleum. As a licensed mechanical engineer, Keith also has specific expertise in HVAC design for biological and chemical research laboratories.
As a Technical Director, Keith will be charged with continuing to enhance Tighe & Bond’s Building Services technical capabilities to meet client needs. He will ensure the team is adapting emerging trends in technology, identify professional development opportunities for staff, and implement technical standard initiatives for project planning, execution, and quality management across the practice. He will also serve as a Project Director, overseeing the project delivery in the educational, industrial, healthcare, and commercial development sectors.
Keith is a member of the Boston chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and has served as a co-presenter for the NAIOP (the Commercial Real Estate Development Association) annual course, “Anatomy of a Commercial Building,” discussing MEP/FP and building systems in commercial spaces.
Keith is based out of our Westwood, MA office.
