Most utilities acknowledge their facilities have gone through many alterations and upgrades over the years. Were those changes well documented? Most often, they are not. And if they were:
- Where is that information stored? Are the record drawings rolled up and put on a shelf in a storage room at the treatment facility?
- Even if your utility has a dedicated “record room,” are your employees quickly able to find what they need? Not just your “go-to” operator, but everyone?
