Marshall joined Tighe & Bond in January of 2024 with the acquisition of Coastal Engineering Co, Inc. (Coastal). He helped advance the structural services at Coastal by leading the charge to fully adapt Building Information Modeling (BIM) utilizing Autodesk’s Revit and Construction Cloud for drawing production. Marshall’s expertise in high level structural analysis and design of complex structures of various materials have played a critical role in the success of many projects.
His expertise in construction of structures in coastal areas comes especially handy on Cape Cod, a region of significant environmental exposure and sensitivity. His recent award-winning project, Wychmere Beach Club waterfront redevelopment, transformed an outdated 35,000 square foot portion of the resort located in a VE High Hazard Flood Zone into a world class waterfront wedding and event venue with unparalleled views of Nantucket Sound.
In his role as Team Leader, he serves as a mentor to coworkers, sharing knowledge, advice, and resources to empower their professional growth. Over the years, Marshall has led classes at Nauset Regional Middle School via their Summer Program and Career Day, educating students about what engineering is, how it can impact our daily lives, and developing a general interest in engineering as a career.
